Incentives are regional or employer based rewards. To learn more about your eligible incentives, login to Share the Ride NC and begin tracking your trips in the Commute Calendar.

GoPerks (Triangle region only)

  • By using Share the Ride NC, Triangle area commuters (Durham, Orange and Wake counties) can use an online calendar to track each day they use a smart commute. Each smart commute by carpool, vanpool, transit, biking or walking earns points. After tracking commute modes in the calendar – long enough to make a new commute option comfortable and routine – points are redeemed for entries in monthly and quarterly drawings for gift certificates and prizes. GoPerks is unavailable to students but our partnerships with employers and local businesses are fundamental to the success of this robust rewards program. Launched in January 2015, the GoPerks program continues GoTriangle's goal of reducing traffic, helping employees save money, and improving the environment and quality of life by introducing prize drawings for smart commuters. The program is free but the rewards are priceless!

    May is Bike Month

We’re switching gears with the GoPerks incentive program and in May 2020 any tracked bike trip can earn points – not just commuting! Adults 18 and older who track bike trips in the Share the Ride NC commute calendar earn points to enter into the prize drawings they choose. It’s free, it’s fun, and it’s local.

You can check out plans and events still happening in your neighborhood at the Bike Month page. Everything from social distancing scavenger hunts for adults, family-friendly activities and online training videos by Triangle experts are here to stay!
